The Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) is a professional society of those interested in the scholarship, teaching and practice of management. Our members are based in business and related faculties at Canadian and international post-secondary institutions as well as private and public sector organizations. ASAC provides a stimulating and collegial community for sharing perspectives and building relationships across disciplines and industries.

Call for Nominations

The ASAC Board of Directors is calling for nominations for the following positions:

  • Vice President Program Elect is an elected position held for a one year term, followed by a one year term as the Vice President Program. The VP Program Elect determines the conference location for the following year, when they will be VP Program, and works with the VP Program to organize the conference during the current year.

 

  • Vice President Membership and Marketing is an elected position held for a three year term. In addition to participating actively in ASAC meetings, this person manages all activities associated with recruiting and registering members, develops, implements, and evaluates a communications and marketing strategy and plan for ASAC, sends e-mail communications to members on behalf of ASAC, and manages public relations on behalf of ASAC.

Please submit your nominations to ASAC Elections by March 1, 2019. The nominating committee will assess all nominations by April 1. The election will take place during April, and the elected directors will begin their terms on Monday, May 27, 2019.

ASAC is pleased to announce that the 2019 conference will be held May 24 to 27 at the Goodman School of Business, Brock University, in St. Catharines, part of the Niagara Region of Ontario

This year`s theme is “Harvest.” Full details can be found here in the Call for Papers.

 

The submission deadline is Feb 11, 2019 at 12pm EST. The deadline will not be extended and no late submissions will be accepted.

 

New this year - divisions will be accepting extended abstracts of your work in progress. 1,200 to 1,500 words describing your current research at any stage.
