The Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) is a professional society of those interested in the scholarship, teaching and practice of management. Our members are based in business and related faculties at Canadian and international post-secondary institutions as well as private and public sector organizations. ASAC provides a stimulating and collegial community for sharing perspectives and building relationships across disciplines and industries.



ASAC is pleased to announce that the 2019 conference will be held May 24 to 27 at the Goodman School of Business, Brock University, in St. Catharines, part of the Niagara Region of Ontario

  • our conference schedule with lots of exciting workshops, symposia, and events, including the Awards Ceremony on Friday, Social Hour on Saturday, and a BBQ lunch on Monday.

  • our all-conference workshops and symposia, including publishing (AMLE) and quantitative techniques (PowerBI) workshops, and cannibis and sports management symposia. Some of these require pre-registration, so don't leave it too late.
  • Winery and Brewery Tours. Registration is now open! If you selected a tour during your conference registration it was an expression of interest, and you now need to formally register.
  • Montreal Local/Global Research Group (MLGRG) General Meeting. Saturday, 1:15. This meeting is to discuss new initiatives for doing research on the most recent  and future challenges of local and global dynamics in business. MGLRG is a collaborative network of multicultural and multidisciplinary scholars from around the world doing research on local and global dynamics and challenges in various fields of business. It was established 15 years ago with scholars from the four universities in Montreal (Concordia, McGill, HEC, and UQAM) and now has members from more than 15 universities around the world. All are welcome.
  • Meet the Deans. ASAC welcomes conference attendees to meet three business school deans from prominent Canadian universities. Deans will host sessions to connect with students, recent graduates and business faculty attending the conference and discuss opportunities, trends and the overall landscape for professional growth and development in the business academic community. Registration required.
  • Tour the Goodman School of Business. Want to learn about Goodman School of Business' $24M addition and renovation project? Kenneth Klassen, Professor of Operations Management and Lead for the project will be leading the tour. Registration required.
