Past Presidents’ Research Award

This award supports a full-time Canadian faculty member for research activities. In addition to the $5000 award, the faculty also receives free membership and ASAC conference fees paid for that year.

Udayan Rege Best Dissertation Award

This award is given biannually for the best Canadian doctoral dissertation in the administrative sciences. The award consists of a plaque and a cash prize of $1000. The award is given in memory of the late Dr. Udayan Rege, a professor of finance at Brock University and a former President of ASAC. It is made possible by a generous donation from Mrs. Kanchan Rege to honour her late husband’s contributions to ASAC and its members, and is awarded every other year.

ASAC-CJAS PhD Research Grant

The ASAC-CJAS PhD Research Grant supports Canadian PhD students during their doctoral research. In addition to the $2500 grant, the student also receives free membership from ASAC for the following year. It is awarded every other year.

Innovation in Student Research Award – $2500

The Innovation in Student Research Award recognizes PhD students who demonstrate exceptional creativity, forward-thinking approaches, and innovative contributions to business scholarship. The recipient’s research should embody the spirit of innovation by exploring unique methodologies, challenging conventional paradigms, or presenting novel insights with the potential to impact both theory and practice. In addition to a $2,500 award, the recipient will also receive free ASAC membership and conference registration for the following year.
